Drive Motors with Python

Control the Beaver Board's two drive motors from Python. Move forward, backward, steer by varying speed, and stop on command.

Connect your board

Power on your Beaver Board — the OLED will show a PIN code. Click Connect in the toolbar, choose Connect via Bluetooth, and select your board. If it's your first time, enter the PIN shown on the screen.

Place the robot on the floor before clicking Run — the wheels spin immediately when the program starts.

Keep the robot on the floor or lift it so wheels spin freely. Do not run motors while the board is balanced on a table edge.
